How system administrators publish in-app announcements at /admin/announcements, who sees them, and how users dismiss them.
Announcements are banners for every signed-in user, such as "Scheduled maintenance tonight". Publish and remove them at /admin/announcements, under Admin > Platform > Announcements.

| Severity | Information, Success, Warning or Critical. Warning and Critical banners stand out in the app. |
| Dismissible | When on, each user can hide the banner for themselves. When off, it stays until you remove it. |
| Live | An announcement shows from the moment you publish it until you remove it. |
Announcements are stored by the better-supabase announcements module. Open pages load the list again within seconds when an announcement is published or removed, over a private Realtime topic.
The banner appears above the page content in every organization, for every signed-in user.
Select Remove next to it in the list. The banner disappears for everyone, including users who had not dismissed it.

Publishing and removing are checked on the server and recorded in the audit log. Any signed-in user can read the live announcements and dismiss the dismissible ones for themselves.
