Pre-commit formats and lints only the staged files. There is no pre-push hook, and typecheck, the full lint and every test run in CI.
ADR 0038 ran turbo run lint typecheck --affected against origin/develop on both pre-commit and pre-push. Every commit therefore re-checked each workspace changed since the last push plus all of its dependents. A change to a widely used package such as @workspace/foundation made the whole repo affected, and commits still took up to a minute. CI already runs the full lint, typecheck and every test suite on each push to develop.
oxfmt on the staged files and stages the result, then runs oxlint on the staged script files. Run from the root, oxlint applies each workspace's nested config, including the type-aware rules.node_modules/.bin binaries directly and skip during merges and rebases.pnpm verify:affected stays as a manual gate for affected lint and typecheck.apps/saas and packages/* takes under two seconds.develop. Run pnpm verify:affected by hand before a push that touches shared packages or contracts.oxlint on resolved files before you commit a conflict resolution.Last updated on
