Each workspace runs its own Vitest config through Turbo `test` and `test:unit` tasks instead of one root Vitest run with projects.
The standard runs Vitest from a root vitest.config.ts whose test.projects reference each workspace. CentraKit has more than forty workspaces with their own environments (Node, DOM, workflow, Supabase), and CI shards the integration suite. Turbo already caches and filters by affected workspace.
pnpm test and pnpm test:unit run turbo run test and turbo run test:unit. Each workspace's vitest.config.ts is the project that runs.vitest.config.ts stays for editor integrations and for running one file from the root.fsModuleCachePath: "node_modules/.vitest-cache", so parallel workspaces never share Vitest's module cache directory.--affected and Turbo's cache skip unchanged workspaces locally and in CI.Last updated on
