Workflow runs start from the shared runtime packages, which run inside both `apps/saas` and `apps/api`.
The standard says only apps/api starts workflows. CentraKit's assistant chat streams from the SaaS app, and its WorkflowAgent runs and the automation dispatcher live in packages/core-ai-runtime and packages/core-workflow-runtime. Routing every chat turn through the API would add a network hop to each streamed response.
start() from workflow/api is called only in packages/core-ai-runtime and packages/core-workflow-runtime, plus the job handlers in apps/api/lib/jobs.WORKFLOW_QUEUE_NAMESPACE.Last updated on
