0016: Turbopack build cache off in CI
GitHub Actions builds skip the Turbopack build cache, because a cold SaaS build with it runs the 7 GB runner out of memory.

Invoice and quote amounts stay numeric for EN 16931, VAT rates stay percentages, and Files keep a soft delete with restore.

The classic TypeScript alias, the default checker count, and the standard toolchain items we hold back until upstream catches up.
The repo standard asks for TypeScript 7 everywhere, tsc --noEmit at its defaults, Turborepo's global configuration block, isolatedDeclarations in the library preset, ensureStatic = "navigation" on the docs and marketing layouts, and the newest Ultracite release that clears the release-age gate. A few of these do not work in this repo yet, and one tool still needs the classic compiler API.
@hey-api/openapi-ts and react-doctor call the TypeScript 6 JavaScript compiler API, which TypeScript 7 does not ship. The catalog aliases it as typescript-classic: npm:@typescript/typescript6@<exact>. Only @workspace/api-client depends on it, and its register-typescript-classic.mjs hook resolves typescript to the alias for openapi-ts and for pnpm doctor:react. Repo code never imports it.tsc --noEmit without --checkers. On the SaaS app with --incremental false, one checker took 10.2 s, the default 4.7 s, four checkers 4.55 s and eight checkers 3.5 s. The default is already four, and eight costs memory on the 2 vCPU CI runners for about a second locally.turbo.json keeps globalEnv, globalPassThroughEnv, globalDependencies and the other top-level keys instead of the global block, and leaves the globalConfiguration future flag off. eslint-plugin-turbo 2.11.8 reads only globalEnv, so with the global block every process.env.NODE_ENV read fails turbo/no-undeclared-env-vars. Switch when the plugin reads global.env.isolatedDeclarations. Every workspace package exports TypeScript source with noEmit, and nothing emits declarations, so the option would only add explicit return types to every export without changing a build. Add it to library.json when a package starts publishing built output.ensureStatic = "shell". The docs nav reads the brand from the request host behind a <Suspense> boundary, so the complete route cannot be static. The App Shell can, and "shell" keeps it that way. Marketing has no request-time data and uses "navigation"..ts. The standard emits large generated metadata as .js plus a .d.ts. packages/api-client/src/generated/zod.gen.ts (about 20,000 lines) is runtime schema code rather than an inert literal, and a matching .d.ts would have to come from tsc --declaration, which the source-only, noEmit package model above does not run. A full check of @workspace/api-client takes 0.65 s and of apps/api 2.2 s. Switch when the api-client check passes 3 s or a typecheck:perf gate exists.database.yml is a foreground step. The standard starts it in the background while dependencies install. The CLI and the signing key script come from the workspace install, so overlapping them needs a second Supabase CLI pin outside the catalog. The start takes about 28 s of a 7-minute job, most of which is the 4.4-minute pgTAP run. Switch if the start grows past a minute or the catalog pin can be shared.anti-slop/require-readable-spacing and anti-slop/no-array-filter-map. The spacing autofix inserts enough blank lines to push 23 components past react-doctor/no-giant-component (300 lines). Splitting those components is its own change; take 8.0.1 with it. Dependabot ignores ultracite until then, so remove that entry from .github/dependabot.yml in the same change.pnpm openapi:generate and pnpm doctor:react keep working without a TypeScript 6 install anywhere else. Drop the alias once both tools run on the TypeScript 7 API.docs:drift fails on the retired typescript6 script names and on --checkers 4 in docs and rules.Last updated on
