Vercel CI runs the tagged Turborepo check tasks next to GitHub Actions until the two agree, and builds, payload budgets and the live database suite stay in GitHub Actions.
GitHub Actions runs lint, typecheck, tests and the root checks on shared 2 vCPU runners, with sharding by hand. Vercel CI reads the Turborepo task graph, runs only affected and uncached tasks that carry the ci tag, and gives each task its own machine. It shares the Remote Cache that GitHub Actions already uses. The repository is private and connected to one Vercel team, so the beta limits do not apply.
lint, typecheck, format:check, test and the root checks (//#lint:root, //#format:check, //#boundaries, //#typecheck:tooling, //#knip:ci, //#audit:high, //#openapi:check, //#i18n:check, //#docs:drift and the three doctors) with ci.ci:cpus:N in the workspace turbo.json, starting the tag list with $TURBO_EXTENDS$.build, baseline:payload, test:integration and test:tracing untagged. The live database suite needs native Supabase binaries that Vercel CI does not carry into tasks, and builds stay in GitHub Actions (ADR 0016).ci block of vercel.json, equal to the GitHub Actions values, so both systems produce the same task hashes.develop, one pull request removes the duplicated verify.yml jobs and moves the required status check to Vercel CI.//#audit:high are watched in the first runs.Last updated on
